MM (UK) Limited have chosen Gemak to design, manufacture and install a fully automated 10,000 lph freshly squeezed juice plant at their new allergen free manufacturing facility situated in Skelmersdale, UK.

The project was delivered and signed of in a record time of 7 months from orders placed.

The state of the art plant was designed to process apple, orange, lemon juices at a variable speed up to 10,000 lph rate. Gemak was awarded the full processing plant project to supply, install and commission which consisted of storage tanks, pasteurisers, blending vessels, coolers, CIP unit and processing lines to fillers

MM (UK) Ltd, MD, Terry Haigh said “We had worked on a successful project with Gemak previously so the decision to go with Gemak on this project was justified. Gemak were the most competitive supplier with the best lead times. Having seen what they could do on our previous project we were confident the project would stay within our fixed budget and lead times would be met. This large scale full factory project was designed, supplied, installed and commissioned within a 7 month period. Kursat Uysal from Gemak UK said “This was our first freshly squeezed juice plant in the UK. It has been built to a very high specification. The plant installation came with very tight deadlines with both process controls and performance criteria a high priority. Having installed other juice plants around the world we already developed a know-how which helped with the speed of delivery and commissioning. Having worked with Terry before we knew the level of expectation was of highest quality, flexibility and performance. It was a challenging project due to the timescale and we are very happy to have completed and delivered the project ontime, budget and in full.
